The Opportunity
Join our Software Team to build the embedded firmware powering the next generation of AI datacenter hardware with real-time power control and telemetry. We need someone passionate about embedded systems, RTOS’s, virtualization, optimizing close to the metal, and automation - someone who wants to see their code control real silicon in production. We value innovation, customer obsession, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop firmware and drivers to manage our fleet of infrastructure IPs to optimize power, performance and reliability.
- Develop orchestration code to coordinate operation between Movellus sensor and actuator IPs with ultrafast response times (< 1us).
- Contribute to advanced AI/ML algorithm development to improve power efficiency and reliability in the datacenter.
- Develop Python-based tools to support firmware, configuration of IPs, and data collection.
- Validate firmware behaviour on simulation environments and FPGAs before tapeout.
- Build automation infrastructure to deliver custom releases and host binaries to customers.
- Support post-silicon bring-up.
- Participate in/lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders.
- Work closely with hardware engineers to identify peripheral programming issues, root cause analysis, and areas of improvement.
- Review code developed by other team members and provide feedback to ensure best practices.
- Debug and resolve system issues, improve code quality, implement maintainable software practices.
