Role Overview
The Project Manager owns the delivery of residential and commercial solar projects from the moment they enter project management through to installation. Working closely with sales, engineering, operations, and field teams, this role keeps projects moving on schedule, surfaces and resolves blockers early, and manages change orders so that every project is delivered accurately and to the customer’s expectations. This is an ideal opportunity for an early-career project manager looking to build hands-on experience in the clean energy sector.

- Maintain accurate project records, status updates, and documentation within internal systems and CRM platforms
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Serve as the central point of coordination between sales, engineering, operations, and installation teams
- Facilitate clear handoffs between departments at each project stage
- Communicate project requirements, dependencies, and updates to internal stakeholders
- Act as a point of contact for customers on project status, timelines, and next steps
Project Status & Pipeline Blockers
- Track the status of all projects in the pipeline and provide regular status reporting to leadership
- Identify blockers such as missing documentation, design issues, permitting or utility delays, and equipment constraints, and drive them to resolution
- Escalate risks and unresolved issues to the appropriate stakeholders in a timely manner
- Contribute to pipeline reviews and help prioritize projects to maintain workflow efficiency
Change Orders
- Manage the change order process from request through execution
- Assess the impact of proposed changes on scope, design, cost, and schedule
- Coordinate with sales, engineering, and operations to review, approve, and document changes
- Communicate changes clearly to customers and internal teams and ensure all required actions are completed before installation proceeds
Process Improvement
- Identify recurring delays or bottlenecks and recommend improvements to project workflows
- Support the development of project management standards, templates, and reporting tools
