At Seaboard Transport, we’re proud to be a leader in safe, reliable, and efficient transportation solutions. We’re looking for a Driver Coordinator – Nights who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves solving problems on the fly, and wants to play a key role in keeping our operations running smoothly.

As the heartbeat of our night operations, you’ll be the main point of contact for drivers - coordinating schedules, managing dispatches, and ensuring every load is delivered safely and on time. If you’re a strong communicator with a knack for staying organized and calm under pressure, this is your chance to make a real impact in a vital role.

Location:North York, ON

Schedule: Nights | Rotation 2/2/3 | 7:00pm - 7:00am

Benefits: Health & Dental | RRSP Employer Matching up to 4%

Performance Incentive: $2,000

What You’ll Do

Coordinate and maintain driver schedules - keeping communication clear and consistent.
Receive and verify customer orders in the TMW system and schedule loads efficiently.
Dispatch loads to drivers, sharing all relevant details such as shift plans, truck assignments, and route information.
Confirm load deliveries, update systems, and escalate issues promptly to management.
Be the go-to person for drivers - answering questions, resolving challenges, and ensuring a smooth workflow.
Monitor safety, service incidents, and performance metrics to keep operations on track.
Support after-hours operations by managing calls and providing real-time solutions.
Collaborate with the broader operations team to ensure every load, route, and driver stays on schedule.

What You Bring

Post-secondary education in business, logistics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
2+ years of experience in transportation or logistics; dispatch experience is a strong asset.
Knowledge of ELD systems and TMW software is an advantage.
Excellent communication and organizational skills - you're the calm in the storm.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
A team-player attitude and a passion for problem-solving.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer systems.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

Be part of a collaborative, high-performing operations team.
Take ownership of a role that directly impacts our drivers’ success and customer satisfaction.
Enjoy a dynamic work environment where every night brings new challenges and wins.
Competitive compensation and benefits package.

If you’re ready to take the driver’s seat in your career and help us keep the wheels turning - apply today!
