YOUR IMPACT
Product Marketing at OpenText is the heart of the marketing organization - developing compelling, value-based messaging that resonates with prospects, customers, and partners. Our Product Marketers are strategic connectors, storytellers, and market shapers who bring our solutions to life and differentiate OpenText in a competitive landscape.
We are seeking a Senior Product Marketing Manager to support the OpenText Digital Fax portfolio and its go-to-market motion. This role will own and activate the market story for modern, secure digital fax, with particular emphasis on cloud adoption, portfolio modernization, and Fax Aviator as a key growth enabler.
The role is central to turning Fax Aviator’s AI capabilities into differentiated customer value and repeatable growth motions. Fax Aviator applies intelligent automation to inbound fax workflows, including classification, extraction, summarization, routing, focused inbox experiences, and downstream handoff of structured data. The successful candidate will make those capabilities easy for buyers and sellers to understand through outcome-led positioning, industry use cases, launches, campaigns, sales enablement, and customer proof.
Reporting to the Senior Director of Product Marketing for Experience, you’ll collaborate closely with Digital Fax Product Management, Sales, Sales Enablement, Analyst Relations, Demand Generation, Content Strategy, Customer Marketing, Field Marketing, Partner Marketing, and other Experience Cloud stakeholders.
YOU ARE GREAT AT
Portfolio Messaging and Positioning
- Develop, maintain, and activate differentiated messaging and positioning across the OpenText Digital Fax portfolio.
- Position digital fax as a secure, trusted foundation for intelligent information exchange and workflow automation, not simply a transmission channel.
- Translate portfolio strategy, roadmap priorities, customer needs, and competitive dynamics into clear value propositions, proof points, use cases, and market narratives.
- Build practical modernization and cloud-adoption stories that help customers understand the value of evolving fax infrastructure without disrupting critical business processes.
Fax Aviator and AI Growth
- Make Fax Aviator a core pillar of the Digital Fax growth story, connecting AI innovation directly to customer outcomes, portfolio differentiation, expansion, and new use cases.
- Create compelling positioning for Fax Aviator capabilities including document classification, structured data extraction, summaries and highlights, content-based routing, focused inbox experiences, and intelligent handoff to downstream systems.
- Turn AI capabilities into role- and industry-specific business value, showing how incoming fax content can become actionable, workflow-ready data rather than remain a manual document-handling burden.
- Develop narratives for configurable AI workflows, including customer document types, confidence thresholds, exception handling, human oversight, and integration with systems of record.
- Partner with Product Management and technical experts to keep AI messaging precise, credible, and aligned with available capabilities and roadmap direction.
Go-to-Market Strategy and Launch Execution
- Support go-to-market planning and execution for Digital Fax releases, Fax Aviator innovations, deployment options, integrations, and strategic initiatives.
- Develop launch plans and bills of materials that connect announcements to customer adoption, seller readiness, demand, and pipeline outcomes.
- Coordinate cross-functional readiness across Product Management, enablement, campaigns, web, analyst relations, customer marketing, and field teams.
- Use customer and market insight to prioritize target industries, buyer roles, workflow scenarios, and competitive opportunities.
Content Development and Asset Management
- Own the creation and ongoing maintenance of a Digital Fax content kit, including pitch decks, web copy, solution briefs, blogs, campaign assets, FAQs, battlecards, customer presentations, and sales tools.
- Develop industry- and persona-specific content for regulated and document-intensive environments, with particular relevance to healthcare, financial services, government, and other high-volume workflows.
- Create use-case storytelling that connects document intake to intelligent action, such as referrals, orders, claims, and other workflows where fax information must be quickly understood, routed, and integrated.
- Use AI-powered content tools and workflows to increase content velocity while maintaining accuracy, strategic coherence, brand voice, and editorial quality.
Sales, Field, Customer, and Market Enablement
- Develop sales-ready pitch decks, discovery guides, qualification questions, objection handling, competitive guidance, migration conversations, demonstrations, and talk tracks.
- Enable growth motions spanning installed-base modernization, cloud migration, competitive displacement, expansion into AI-enabled workflows, and new-logo acquisition.
- Partner with Sales Enablement and product experts on release training, demonstrations, ask-the-expert sessions, and role-based enablement.
- Support customer proof development, analyst and influencer engagement, and partner-ready messaging that demonstrate differentiated Digital Fax and Fax Aviator value.
- Improve the visibility and discoverability of Digital Fax and Fax Aviator across web, search, campaigns, events, and seller channels.
What You Need To Succeed
- Minimum 7 years of experience in B2B technology marketing, with at least 4–5 years in product marketing, portfolio marketing, content marketing, or a closely related role.
- Exceptional ability to simplify complex technology and translate capabilities into differentiated, outcome-based stories for business and technical audiences.
- Strong writing, presentation, and content-development skills across executive, sales, digital, campaign, and technical formats.
- Experience with SaaS, cloud, enterprise software, workflow automation, intelligent document processing, communications, infrastructure, or adjacent markets.
- Understanding of go-to-market fundamentals including positioning, launches, segmentation, sales enablement, competitive intelligence, demand generation, and lifecycle marketing.
- Expert proficiency with AI-powered content and productivity tools, with the judgment to validate outputs and protect accuracy, confidentiality, and brand quality.
- Highly organized, proactive, and collaborative, with the ability to manage multiple deliverables and influence across functions without formal authority.
- A self-starter who combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution and is motivated by measurable customer and business outcomes.
Why This Role Matters
Digital fax continues to underpin important, regulated workflows, while customers are simultaneously navigating cloud adoption, infrastructure modernization, automation, and AI. This role will help OpenText turn that transition into growth by building a clear market story and repeatable go-to-market motions around Digital Fax and Fax Aviator.
Fax Aviator is a particularly important growth lever: it can classify, extract, summarize, and route fax content, organize work through a focused inbox, and hand structured information into downstream systems. That creates a path to reposition fax from a manual communications channel into an intelligent workflow entry point. This Senior Product Marketing Manager will shape how customers, sellers, partners, and analysts understand and adopt that future.
