Senior Manager, Engineering & Maintenance
Job Description
Lead the Engineering and Maintenance functions for the Aurora site, ensuring facilities, utilities and manufacturing equipment are safe, compliant, reliable and capable of supporting site requirements. The Senior Manager, Engineering & Maintenance is accountable for capital project execution, engineering services, maintenance and asset reliability, functional budgets, and development of the Engineering and Maintenance teams. The role translates approved site priorities into effective engineering, capital and maintenance plans and ensures they are executed safely, compliantly, on time and within approved budgets.
· Lead the Engineering and Maintenance functions, including direct leadership of the Engineering team and Maintenance Manager.
· Lead and oversee the execution of approved site capital projects, ensuring delivery within agreed scope, schedule, budget, quality and safety requirements.
· Manage Engineering and Maintenance operating budgets and assigned capital budgets, including forecasting, cost control and variance management.
· Oversee site engineering activities and provide technical leadership for facilities, utilities, manufacturing equipment, infrastructure and continuous improvement initiatives.
· Oversee preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance programs and monitor key performance measures, including equipment downtime, preventive maintenance completion, MTBF and MTTR, to improve asset reliability and lifecycle performance.
· Ensure significant or recurring equipment and utility failures are appropriately investigated and effective corrective actions are implemented.
· Ensure Engineering, Maintenance and capital project activities comply with applicable cGMP, regulatory, EHS and company requirements.
· Support customer and regulatory audits and ensure Engineering and Maintenance documentation, procedures and systems are maintained in an inspection-ready state.
· Manage engineering contractors, consultants, vendors and other external technical resources to ensure effective project and service delivery.
· Partner with Operations, Quality, EHS, Finance and other functions to establish priorities, resolve technical issues and support site objectives.
· Identify and implement opportunities to improve reliability, capacity, efficiency, energy utilization and cost effectiveness.
· Lead, coach, develop and performance manage the Engineering and Maintenance teams, building technical capability, accountability and succession readiness.
· Provide Site Leadership with clear visibility of capital project status, technical risks, asset reliability, budgets and resource requirements.

Canada Salary Range :CAD120,000.00 - CAD171,250.00/Per Year
