Active Dynamics Group is seeking an experienced and driven Senior General Accountant to join our successful Toronto team immediately. We are looking for a seasoned professional with strong technical accounting skills, hands-on accounts receivable and accounts payable expertise, and the ability to take ownership of the full month-end close.
Position Overview:
The Senior General Accountant is responsible for leading the month-end close process, overseeing the accounts receivable and accounts payable functions, and supporting key activities such as closing the books, preparation of journal entries, continuity schedules, variance analysis, and working on ad hoc projects.
This position will report to the Controller.
What you will be doing:
Oversee the full-cycle accounts payable process, including review of vendor invoices, three-way matching (PO, receiving, invoice), approvals, and weekly payment runs
Oversee the full-cycle accounts receivable process, including customer invoicing, cash application, and credit and collections follow-up
What you bring along:
Proven hands-on experience managing full-cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable, including sub-ledger reconciliations, accruals, and month-end cut-off
Salary: $75,000 - $85,000 CADOther details:
